The new MIUI Alpha launcher addresses frame drop, crash, and memory issues
There’s no doubt that Xiaomi MIUI needs some polishing to start competing favorably with other Android skin out there. With the virtual revamp experienced with MIUI 12 that left some bugs, the company is still trying to come back from that. For that reason, they have gone to release MIUI 12.5, which the Enhanced Edition is currently rolling out. Luckily, that addressed some issues faced by MIUI fans, but some have persisted. Also, problems relating to the widget have been addressed, and the widget loading experience after restarting got some optimization. As usual, the update has optimized performance and fixed other bugs. Aside from the bug fixes, users are lauding the animation, while the blur effect looks to have been restored.
