The new POCO X3 Indian update – MIUI 12.0.8.0 QJGINXM

The POCO X3 was released towards the end of last year with MIUI 12 on top of Android 11. As a device that debuted a few months ago, the support has been overwhelming. According to reports, the device will soon start receiving the Android 11 update after appearing on the Google search console and Geekbench running the latest Android OS. The build is probably under testing but hasn’t slowed down the support the device is getting.

Yesterday, it was announced by POCO on Twitter that a new POCO X3 Indian update is rolling out. The update has been around for a while now, though. Xiaomi released the update on December 24, but arrived for a few selected users, as usual. It seems the announcement that was made yesterday means the company has initiated the public rollout. However, we haven’t seen anyone report receiving the new POCO X3 Indian update.

The update has a version number, MIUI 12.0.8.0 QJGINXM, and weighs in at 319MB. It’s a security patch build that came along with the November patch and improved system security. We are now in January 2021, and it doesn’t make sense to download the update as it doesn’t introduce any outstanding features. It would be best to wait for the next OTA, which should be rolling out in a few weeks, considering how frequent Xiaomi has been pushing updates to this phone.

Nevertheless, if you want to download the new POCO X3 Indian update, we have added a link below. You can also check this page for all the updates Xiaomi has sent to the device since hitting the shelves.
