Theme automatically restores to default on POCO phones

The latest MIUI weekly bug report is here, and it has only a single issue. Surprisingly, only POCO users are reporting the problem, which is likely a result of the latest POCO Launcher update. Luckily, the company has acknowledged the issue, and you can try some workaround on this post.

Theme automatically restores to default on POCO phones

The MIUI weekly bug report has seen multiple bug reports but is only a single issue being reported widely this week. It’s exclusive to POCO users, whose preferred Theme automatically restores to default.

Why Theme automatically restores to default on POCO phones

Unfortunately, Xiaomi didn’t give any reasons for that, but it could the latest POCO Launcher update released days ago. Perhaps the update doesn’t allow third-party themes, and we recommend applying a Theme from the theme store to see if there will be any changes. Also, if you installed the POCO Launcher released days ago, you might want to uninstall and install an older version.

Meanwhile, we understand not everyone using a POCO phone is experiencing their Theme restoring to default. It seems to affect POCO X4 GT, POCO F3, POCO M4 Pro, POCO M5s, and POCO M5 running V14.0.4.0.TLOMIXM, V14.0.7.0.TKHMIXM, V14.0.3.0.TKEMIXM, V14.0.4.0.TFFMIXM, V14.0.8.0.TLUMIXM, respectively.

Currently, there’s no official fix, as the issue is still being analyzed. We expect a fixed build to start rolling out once it becomes available.
