MIUI update news

These Xiaomi phones will receive MIUI + feature with MIUI 13 (screen combo function) Globally

Before the official presentation of MIUI 12.5, Xiaomi released a feature called Screen Combo to the Mi 10 Ultra. The function arrived for closed beta testers and has since extended to a handful of devices with MIUI 12.5. Unsurprisingly, the MIUI + feature (screen combo function) has remained exclusive to Chinese users, although it’s a feature of MIUI 12.5. The latest iteration of MIUI has already arrived for a bunch of Xiaomi phones, but only the Chinese branch of MIUI received the MIUI + feature.

The MIUI + is an app that lets you seamlessly connect your Xiaomi phone to a PC, so you get a bigger screen working space. Once connected, you will be able to run apps on your device from the PC simultaneously. It also lets you transfer files using the drag and drop method, and the clipboard is unified, thus making it convenient for copy and paste. With MIUI +, it becomes easy to access our notifications and reply to messages.

Unfortunately, this MIUI + feature is still exclusive to the Chinese branch of MIUI. And with the latest closed beta update, it has been enabled for more phones. Ideally, these phones will receive MIUI + features with MIUI 13 globally. Yes, you read that correctly. This function isn’t available for global ROM users at the moment, even for premium phones. We are not surprised, as it’s not the first time. The Ultra battery saver that arrived for Chinese users back in 2019 only reached global users a few months ago. And hopefully, the screen combo function will arrive for the global users with MIUI 13.
