Unveiling the top 10 smartphones, the rankings reveal Apple’s prominent presence, capturing the first four spots. The iPhone 14 Pro Max takes the lead, boasting a robust 26.5 million units sold. Following closely, the iPhone 14 Pro secures its position with 21 million units, while the iPhone 14 and iPhone 13 showcase their enduring popularity with 16.5 million and 15.5 million units sold, respectively.

Android steps into the spotlight in the fifth spot, represented by the Galaxy A14, which notched up a commendable 12.4 million units sold. However, it’s noteworthy that Android’s representation primarily starts from this point onward in the top ten.

Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra emerges as the sole Android flagship in the lineup, amassing a significant 9.6 million units sold. The Galaxy A14 5G, Galaxy A54 5G, and Galaxy A34 5G follow closely, each contributing between 7 and 9 million units to the market.

Amidst these figures, the iPhone 11 makes a remarkable appearance, defying its 2019 launch date with 6.9 million units sold, securing the tenth spot.

Apple’s dominance is unmistakable, accounting for half of the top ten smartphones sold in H1 2023. This marks an intriguing shift from the previous year, where Samsung and Xiaomi shared the limelight with six models in the top ten. Notably, Xiaomi’s Redmi smartphones and Samsung’s budget offerings and the Galaxy S22 Ultra played pivotal roles in the 2022 lineup.
