Vivo V11 Pro officially goes on sale in India with Edge Detection and Under-screen scanner


The Vivo V11 Pro has been on the rumor mill for a while now but finally went official yesterday and now on sale in India. The device debuted with an under-screen scanner, water drop notch on 6.41-inches AMOLED display, edge detection and on sale for INR 25,000.


Vivo V11 Pro makes it the first Vivo mid-range device to debut with the under-screen scanner, on a Full HD+ 6.41-inch AMOLED display. The trendy face-unlocking feature also makes it with both security set to work together, once either one identifies you, the Vivo V11 opens.

The Vivo V11 Pro has seen a huge upgrade in the processor, it runs Snapdragon 660 chip against 625 SoC that is behind Vivo V9 speed. Paired to the Octa-core CPU clocking at 2.2GHz is a 6GB RAM and Adreno 512GPU. It comes with 128GB internal memory expandable via dedicated memory slot.


As usual, recently, the primary camera arrangement houses dual 12MP f/1.8 aperture sensor, accompanied by a 5MP f/2.4 sensor, basically for bokeh effect. On the water drop notch is 25MP f/2.0 lens, coupled with some AI enhancements. There is an Edge Detection sensor for portrait mode when taking pictures and will serve other purposes like shortcuts.


On the Vivo V11 is Funtouch 4.5, based on Android operating system 8.1. It has an improved energy management system with Jovi AI that allocates memory and CPU resources for efficient usage. The battery is 3400mAh and supports fast charge technology (18W) through updates Micro USB.


The Vivo V11 Pro is currently selling in India on Black and Gold with a price tag of INR 25,000, which translates to about $347.
