Things haven’t been the way they usually are of late, and that’s concerning MIUI updates. Naturally, there’s no day we don’t see a new update arrive for Xiaomi, Redmi, or POCO phones. However, for some days now, developers haven’t released an update as they normally do. That’s due to a known situation, though, and it was all planned. When is my Xiaomi phone getting a new update?

Late last month, Xiaomi, via the note that comes with each Beta update, announced it will be suspending the development version of MIUI for some time. That seems to affect stable rollout as well. It has been days since a Xiaomi phone last received an update, and that is due to the Chinese New Year Holiday.

Xiaomi developers are currently on Holiday due to the Lunar New Year celebration in China. They’re expected to return to work from 18-22nd of February, and that’s probably when your Xiaomi phone might be getting a new update. Hence, if you’re worried about the lack of an MIUI update, you should rest easy as the update will start rolling out again in a few days.

Meanwhile, we have set up a tracker page for some Xiaomi phones to track their update. Also, we have a tracker page for the MIUI 12.5 and Android 11 updates, and you should check them out. We update the pages frequently to reflect the latest MIUI update and upcoming ones. For the Poco X3/NFC users, check out the update tracker page here, and the Mi 10T/Pro users should go this way. Those using the POCO M3 should check here, while the Redmi Note 9T users should check all the latest updates here.
