Samsung and Google have seeded the May 2022 security patch update to their phones. The former started the rollout before the latest security patch bulletin was released. Google addressed over 33 privacy and security vulnerabilities, which are now coming to Xiaomi phones, as the company starts seeding the patch update to its phones.

While Google and Samsung updated their flagship phones first, Xiaomi started the rollout with the Xiaomi Mi 10T lite and Xiaomi 11i / Hypercharge. The former is receiving the update in Europe, which has a version number MIUI 13.0.4.0 SJSEUXUM, while the latter is getting a stable MIUI 12.5.6.0 RKTINXM in India. Both builds deliver the May 2022 security patch to improve system security and stability.

We expect the Xiaomi May 2022 security patch to extend to other markets and devices in the coming days. The POCO X3 Pro , Redmi Note 11 NFC, and Redmi 9A have picked up the Xiaomi May 2022 security patch update. It is available with a version number, MIUI 13.0.2.0 SJUIDXM, MIUI 13.0.6.0 RGKRUXM, and MIUI 12.0.6.0 QCDRUXM, respectively. Given the version numbers, the update is live in Indonesia and Russia.

More device has picked up the Xiaomi May 2022 security patch update. The Mi A3, Mi 10i and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G have received the update in the last few hours. Aside from bumping the phones security patch level, it increased system security and stability. The update fixed bugs and fortified the device for future upgrades.

The Xiaomi May 2022 security patch update has arrived for the POCO M3. It’s currently available for the global users with a version number MIUI 12.5.8.0 RJFMIXM. It bumps Android security patch level to increase system security and stability, while fixing bugs. Download here.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 4G is receiving a new stable update in Russia. The update has a version number MIUI 13.0.2.0 SKQIDXM and brings the May 2022 security patch. It has supposedly improved performance and security while addressing bugs. Download here: Recovery | OTA (Apply from v13.0.1.0)
