Xiaomi begins upgrading the Mi 10 Youth to Android 11 with the latest MIUI 12 update that’s rolling out to the device. It becomes the latest device in the Mi 10 series to start receiving the Android 11 update. However, it’s still a limited rollout at the moment, meaning only a few people are going to receive the update. The public will start receiving the update after a successful beta testing, which is expected to last for a few days.
Meanwhile, for those that have received the build, it comes with a version number, MIUI 12.1.3.0 RJVCNXM. From the version number, the Mi 10 Youth Edition Android 11 update that’s currently seeding is for the Chinese users. We expect other regions to start getting the update very soon, but you can check here for the global version, Mi 10 Lite. Xiaomi has upgraded the Mi 10 Lite to Android 11, and the company is now rolling out the same update in China.
As per the changelog, the build has only pushed the Android version to the latest one – Android 11. That could be it, but you’d notice some changes, which are limited to Xiaomi phones running Android 11. Some of it includes adding device frame to screenshot, new volume UI, and many others. Also, the update has introduced to the device all the features baked inside Android 11.
You can check for the update via the updater app or use the download link below to upgrade. But know that it’s still a “beta stable build ” and might contain some bugs. Xiaomi has started pushing a new stable Android 11-based MIUI 12 update to the Mi 10 Youth Edition. It comes with a version number – MIUI 12.1.5.0 RJVCNXM – and you can download the full recovery ROM here.
