The latest closed beta update (MIUI 12.5 V21.9.18) release note shows that some device internal testing is suspended today, September 22, 2021. It’s due to a major version of Android upgrade, which of course, is Android 12. The phones to start getting the MIUI based Android 12 beta update in the coming week includes Xiaomi Mi 11 Youth (Mi 11 Lite 5G), Redmi K40 (POCO F3), Xiaomi Mi 10S.

Hence, if you’re participating in the closed beta tests, you would not get the current build, with the affected phones. Hopefully, Xiaomi will start rolling it out in the coming days. That would mean imminent release to stable ROM users, but that should happen after the stable Android 12 release.

Meanwhile, the currently closed beta build has addressed some issues. Below are the complete changes as seen on the log. Of course, that’s not all the changes, and hence, you might notice new additions and bug fixes after upgrading.
