Xiaomi yesterday suspended the development of MIUI 12 and has moved its attention to MIUI 12.5. The suspension also means the Redmi K30S Ultra (Mi 10T/Pro) and Mi 9 SE have received their last Android 10 based China development build. The duo is expected to receive its first Android 11 build when the closed beta test restarts. Unfortunately, we don’t know when yet, but when it does start, only those participating in the closed beta test are going to receive the update. But that’s always the first step as the company needs to test for bugs and other things before rolling it out to the public.
Meanwhile, a new update has been released for the users of Xiaomi Mi 10T/Pro and Mi 9 SE. The update is currently hitting the Indian version of the Mi 10T/Pro, while the European models of the Mi 9 SE are getting a new update as well. On the former, it comes as MIUI 12.0.4.0 QJDINXM, and in the latter, you’re going to receive MIUI 12.0.3.0 QFBEUXM. You can scan the update by heading to the updater app or follow the link below this post and download.
As usual, the update is likely to take sometime before appearing on all eligible units. For now, only a few users have received the update, and they’re expected to test the build and report back to developers. Depending on their feedback, the public release might commence in the coming days.
