Xiaomi Mi 10T / Pro receives March security patch as the duo gets ready for Android 12 and MIUI 13 upgrades

It has been a busy past few weeks for Xiaomi developers with the deployment of the Android 12-based MIUI 13 update. They might even have more work in their hands as the company is alleged to have started working on Android 13. However, we don’t expect that to slow the current rollout down as more phones are waiting for the update, including the Xiaomi Mi 10T / Pro. The duo debuted with Android 10, and with the company’s update policy, are eligible for Android 12. It seems the update will soon start seeding as the March security patch arrives for the global models.

There’s no doubt about the eligibility of Xiaomi Mi 10T / Pro for the Android 12 and MIUI 13 upgrades. Besides, the Chinese version (Redmi K30S) has already received the update, meaning the international rollout is only about time. Perhaps, to prepare these phones for a seamless transition to Android 12 with MIUI 13, a new update with the March security patch has been released.

The Xiaomi Mi 10T / Pro March security patch is seeding for global users with a version number MIUI 12.5.10.0 RJDMIXM. It weighs in at 293MB and has supposedly increased system security. Supposedly the update fortifies the device ahead of the planned Android 12 and MIUI 13 upgrades. Hence, we recommend downloading and installing the update when prompted for a seamless upgrade to Android 12.

Meanwhile, we understand the update is staged, meaning only Mi Pilots members can access it. It will take a few days to become available for everyone, but you can use the link below for manual installation.
