Xiaomi was supposed to release the MIUI 13 after it announced MIUI 12 but had to delay the release due to bugs. The latter saw a total overhauling of the design, which left a few problems to be addressed. Xiaomi has been at that for a months, and it seems that Enhanced Edition is the last step before we finally see MIUI 13. And if the recent report is legit, we might see Xiaomi present MIUI 13 next month. Of course, the Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro is eligible for the update, but you have to upgrade to Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5 first.
The Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition is currently seeding for Mi Pilots. They’ll preview the build for bugs, and if there’s none detected, the public will start getting the update in the coming days. It will arrive with a version number – MIUI 12.5.4.0 RKKINXM – and with the anticipated features. They include Atomized Memory, Liquid Storage, Focused Algorithm, and Smart Balance. That has supposedly made the operation swift and allows more charges between charges.
Aside from the changes, the Mi 11X Pro MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition has bumped the Android security patch level to September 2021 to increase system security and stability. It has also addressed bugs affecting the lock screen, home screen, status bar, and notification shade. You can check here for the complete changelog.
