Xiaomi POCO F4 Specs
POCO F4 is the direct successor of the POCO F3 that launched last year. Both phones share similar specs but a different design, while there are some upgrades on the primary camera of the former. For the first time, a POCO phone features Optical Image Stabilization and a fast charge for a guaranteed 38 minutes charge from 0-100.

POCO F4 Specs
POCO managed to deliver a sturdy and aesthetically pleasing device using Corning glass and aluminum. The device measures 163.2 x 76 x 7.7mm. Around the back is a rectangular camera bump housing the triple sensor, while the LED flashlight comes underneath. The frame houses the volume rocker and power button. At the bottom is where the sim tray is located alongside the USB-C port and a single speaker with the second speaker grill on the top frame with IR Blaster. The device is available in Moonlight Silver, Night Black, and Nebula Green.
POCO F4 DISPLAY
POCO F4 has a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel that refreshes at 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 360Hz. That would guarantee a faster response time during gaming while the device can reach a peak brightness of 1300 nits. The FullHD+ EA panel is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. It is resistant to scratch and mild falls.
POCO F4 PERFORMANCE
Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 Octa-core SOC is behind the robust performance of the POCO F4. The SoC has a single prime core at 3.2GHz, three performance cores, and four efficiency cores. Adreno 650 GPU handles graphics rendering and will deliver accurate details. There’s an improved liquid cooling technology for proper heat dissipation, meaning ample life during gaming and less heat. Outside-of-the box, the device runs Android 12 on top of MIUI 13.
POCO F4 CAMERA
The primary 64 MP sensor with OIS is the big difference between the POCO F4 and the predecessor. It is also an upgrade from the 48MP on the Redmi K40s, which is only a rebadged version of the F4. Additional sensors include an 8MP ultra-wide angle and 2MP macro shooter, while that selfie snapper is a 20MP shooter.
POCO F4 BATTERY AND SECURITY
There have been some improvements in the battery department compared to the POCO F3. Instead of a 33W fast charging, the device gets 67W fast charging and would charge the 4500mAh battery from 0-100 in 38 minutes.
For security, the device uses a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, which is built on the power button. It’s responsive and unlocks the device in fraction of a second. You would be able to record up to five fingerprints and perform other functions with the scanner.
POCO F4 Price and availability
The POCO F4 is available in two memory configurations globally- 6/128GB and 8/256GB, starting at $399 and $449, respectively. There’s an early bird discount of $50 when you purchase the device during the first sales.
Those in India can grab the device in three configurations – 6/128GB for INR 28,000, 8/128GB for INR 30,000 and 12/256GB for INR 34,000. Also, there’ll be a discount of INR 4,000 on the first sales and that includes an INR 1,000 instant discount. It’ll be available in Moonlight Silver, Night Black, and Nebula Green.
