POCO M3 Android 11 released with stable MIUI 12.5 update. Check below…
POCO might be an independent brand, but they still rely heavily on Xiaomi. We have only seen a few devices from the company that’s not rebranded Redmi or Mi phones, of which the POCO M3 is one such phone. The device debuted late last year with Android 10 on top of MIUI 12. That makes it eligible for Android 11 and MIUI 12.5, and with both rolling out simultaneously for some phones, the POCO M3 might get the same treatment.
The Xiaomi POCO M3 Android 11 update is in the works and will start seeding soon. According to a moderator in the POCO community, when replying to a user query on when the entry-level device will receive Android 11, answered ‘very soon.’ Although soon can be anytime, but given the recent developments, the rollout should be around the corner. The real question should be whether the POCO M3 Android 11 update will arrive with MIUI 12.5 or MIUI 12? That’s a question only Xiaomi could answer at the moment, but we might have a clue.
POCO M3 might be a unique design/development, given that it’s not a reworked Redmi or Mi phone. However, it has a few things in common with the Redmi Note 9 4G, also known as Redmi 9T/Redmi 9 power. The Redmi 9T received an Android 11-based MIUI 12 update, and we expect the same for the POCO M3. Again, it is an entry-level phone and might not handle two upgrades simultaneously. Hence, we expect the POCO M3 Android 11 update to arrive with stable MIUI 12.
Unfortunately, there’s no ETA as to when this update will start seeding or the region that’ll get it first. We also don’t expect Xiaomi or POCO say anything about that, and hence, you should keep an eye on our tracker page. There you would know when the update starts rolling out and when it becomes available in your region.
