The Xiaomi Redmi 10 is the direct successor of last year’s Redmi 9. It was among the phones that saw the company overtake Samsung as the leading smartphone phone brand in terms of shipping. And with the Redmi 10 now available globally and coupled with the compelling specs, the device will get all the attention. While the design resembles the Mi 10 Ultra to give an edge, the sub-$200 price tag will always be a game-changer.
Interestingly, Xiaomi doesn’t just push it phones to the shelves and forget about them like some OEMs. Instead, they support the device for at least three years with quarterly security patch updates. Not just that, the device will get one major Android OS upgrade and three versions on MIUI. Hence, since it debuted with Android 11, it will be upgraded to Android 12 and will receive MIUI 13 or something.
Meanwhile, the first Redmi 10 stable update has been released in multiple regions. The global variants were the first to get the update, which arrived with a version number – MIUI 12.5.4.0 RKUMIXM. It’s also available in Indonesia and Russia with a version number – MIUI 12.5.2.0 RKUIDXM and MIUI 12.5.2.0 RKURUXM, respectively. How to flash Redmi 10 stable update
First, you need to download the recovery ROM and then move it to your device’s internal memory. After, you should head to Updater App and click on the three dots on the top left. Click choose update package and select the ROM that you downloaded. The system will verify the ROM, and once the verification is completed, the flashing will commence.
