Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 MIUI 12.5 Enhanced brings Memory Extension to Europe

The third and probably the last batch of MIUI 12.5 Enhanced is already underway. Xiaomi will complete the rollout in the coming weeks, in time for the official unveiling of MIUI 13. Going by a recent report, the upcoming User Interface will allegedly debut on December 16 and might be why more devices are picking the Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5. As expected, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 MIUI 12.5 Enhanced has been released in Europe. It seems to be a limited rollout, and it is currently available for stable beta testers for preview.

The update started seeding late last night and has a version number – MIUI 12.5.3.0 RKGEUXM. It weighs 502MB, and according to the changelog, it has increased system security and stability and optimized system performance. However, looking at the phone settings show the Android security patch level has been bumped to October 2021. Also, the much-anticipated Memory Extension feature has been introduced.

For starters, the memory Extension feature converts part of your internal memory into a virtual RAM. Depending on your device’s memory configuration, you get 1GB, 2GB, or 3GB of virtual RAM. It seems the feature is enabled by default, but you can check via this link to be sure it’s switched on. Aside from the few changes, it seems the supposed Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 MIUI 12.5 has improved battery backup and made animation smooth.
