Redmi 8 is part of the entry-level phones that were launched by Xiaomi under the Redmi sub-brand last year. The device debuted with MIUI 11 based on Android 9 and will receive Android 10 as part of the MIUI 12 update. While the stable MIUI 12 update will start arriving this month, a new Redmi 8 stable update is currently arriving via OTA.
The update carries a build number – MIUI 11.0.11.0 PCMMIXM. It’s a security patch update that bumps the security level to May, alongside bug fixes and system improvement. As usual, with MIUI updates, it will arrive in batches, but we have added a link so you can manually download the new Redmi 8 Stable update and flash.

Flashing Guide
