After the MIUI 12 beta preview, Xiaomi released the stable version of the update for eligible devices on phase one. Both Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 pro received the update, but with how Xiaomi rolls out updates, it always comes down to some device getting the update much later.
Xiaomi MIUI updates are rolled out in batches. The reason is in case of any serious issue, the update will be called back, and as such, there will be less damage. That’s probably the reason why the stable MIUI 12 update is yet to hit some of the eligible phones, especially the Indian Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro.
