POCO F1 users have been patiently waiting for the release of the MIUI 12 stable update, after the beta stable was rolled out a month ago. Usually, it takes two weeks for the beta preview, but since lots of bugs were reported, the public rollout was delayed. However, the public is now getting the stable MIUI 12 build on their Poco F1, but just like we reported earlier, you should wait on feedback before downloading the update.
Meanwhile, it seems the update is currently arriving for limited users. It’s coming with a build number, MIUI 12.0.1.0 QEJMIXM, and weighs in at 1.9GB. As usual, it comes with all the features of MIUI 12, but as expected, the super wallpaper isn’t part of the package. However, you can activate it using this tutorial here.
Thus far, there haven’t been any complaints, but considering all the bugs that were reported by the beta testers, it would be nice to wait for feedback before downloading. We have added a link to the recovery ROM, and so you don’t have to fear whether the update is pulled, you can always download and flash the recovery ROM.
For early adopters, we would like to know the experience after updating to the new stable MIUI 12 build on your POCO F1. Did the performance improve, and how about the heating issue? We would like to know if you experienced any of the bugs we reported here.
Here is a download link to the MIUI 12 build for the POCO. Note: wait for feedback before you proceed.
