The Chinese OEM started rolling out a new update to the Mi 9 Lite and Mi 9 SE, which pushed the security patch level to December. The same update is now available for the Redmi Note 7/7S in India.
The new Redmi Note 7/7S update is coming with a version number, MIUI 12.0.2.0 QFGINXM, and weighs in at 336MB. It only brings the December security patch, which has improved the system security as per the changelog.
