Xiaomi is slowly winding down on the MIUI 12 rollout. That’s what we expected to see when it announced the MIUI 12.5, and it seems everyone eligible for the MIUI 12 update will soon get it. Latest to start getting the update is the Redmi 8A models in Europe and China. The update started rolling out a couple of minutes ago, and as such, will only arrive for a few selected users for preview. It will be released for the public in the coming days if no performance threatening bug is detected. However, you can follow the link below and download the Redmi 8A MIUI 12 update.

The Redmi 8A MIUI 12 update is hitting the European models with a version number, MIUI 12.0.1.0 QCPEUXM, while the Chinese users will get MIUI 12.0.1.0 QCPCNXM. As per the changelog, the updates brings the features of MIUI 12, optimized system performance, and fixed bugs. It also bumped the Android security patch level to December 2020, and you can check the full changes below.
