Android 10 for Xiaomi MI 9t starts arriving

Xiaomi has finally released Android 10 for Xiaomi Mi 9T. The update is coming with a build number MIUI 11.0.1.0 QFKMIXM Stable and weighs about 2.2GB. There are currently two versions of the update being rolled out – Global Stable and the EU stable ROM. However, both versions of the update are arriving with the much anticipated Android 10 for Xiaomi Mi 9T.

The update also brings the latest Android Security Patch and now dates 1-12-2019. Other changes that came along with the update include a fix for notification shade in second space and a new payment icon for India users.

Meanwhile, some improvements didn’t appear in the changelog. Short videos got new features like super slow, super-fast, and filter by Tiktok. There’s override dark mode, smooth animation, smooth video recording, and improved battery life.

Among all those changes and optimization, users will likely enjoy the new Operating System – Android 10. It’s been ages since they started anticipating Android 10 for Xiaomi Mi 9T, and finally, the update has started arriving.

To check for the update, navigate to Settings > My Device> MIUI version. There’s a possibility the update is yet to arrive, be patient as its normal for OTA to take slight delays. But you can still accelerate the arrival by turning “receive update earlier” on updater app setting.

It might as well be a piece of good news for Xiaomi Mi A3 users. Since Xiaomi has started rolling out Android 10 for Xiaomi Mi 9T, the global version of Redmi K20, Android 10 for Mi A3, may be ready to start rolling out.
