It’s been over two weeks since the Galaxy phones started receiving the April patch. The South Korean giant released the update even before Google released the current patch bulletin. Xiaomi only released the current patch a couple of days to its entry-level phones, while the only Android One phone in its stables with active support was waiting. However, the company is now pushing the April 2022 security patch for Mi A3, starting with the Global models.
According to Google, the April security patch fixed over 88 privacy and security vulnerabilities. As usual, the update improves security and stability while addressing bugs, although we haven’t had any feedback on that. Also, the April security patch for Mi A3 has improved performance, which is likely since the update didn’t include a new bug.
The update is seeding with version number V12.0.22.0 RFQMIXM. It comes in 10.84MB, exclusive for the global models. We expect the European models to get the update in the coming days.
