How to install MIUI 12 Beta ROM via Recovery
- Download MIUI 12 Beta ROM for your Xiaomi phone
- Transfer the downloaded file to phone storage in the root directory. You can place the ROM on “download_rom” folder
- Open the Updater app. Settings> My Device> MIUI version
- Click on the three dots at the top right corner and select ” Choose Update Package”
- If the option doesn’t show up, tap on the MIUI icon several times, and check again.
- Select the MIUI 12 Beta ROM package from your phone storage
- Your phone should reboot and initiate the process. Once done, reboot to system.
Note: don’t interrupt the update once you start the process or you might risk repeating the process.
