And 18 months later, POCO is about to add another device to its portfolio. The news emanated recently after the brand gain independence from the parent company, Xiaomi, and is about to release a high-end phone, dubbed POCO X2. Here is everything we know about POCO X2, and according to leaks, it will debut as a rebranded Redmi K30. Below is why we think the rumors are true.

Flipkart, an e-commerce company in India, we understand will handle the sale of the POCO X2 and have been teasing some specs of the device. It has already teased a 120Hz RealityFlow display, which is on-line with the Redmi K30 refresh rate as well. Again, the site has confirmed a 27W fast charging for the POCO X2 and is not far from the 30W on K30.
Some of the specs were also revealed by an Indian publication, which hints at a 6.67-inch display and a Quad rear camera arrangement of a primary 64MP Sony IMX 686 camera lens. We have seen the design of the POCO X2 with metal frame, and it looks like the Redmi K30. Interestingly, the price tag has been revealed as well, and the device will be sold at INR 18,999 ($265) for the base 64GB 4GB version.

So far, the rumors suggest we’re about to see the Redmi K30 debut as POCO X2, and considering how Xiaomi renames their phones on the Global Market, we might be in for another experience. But with the phone launching in four days from today, we will finally see the specs and design, to know if it’s that of Redmi K30.
