Android 10 for Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite might be on the way
While Xiaomi MI A3 users are still waiting for the arrival of Android 10, the update will soon be heading to Xiaomi MI A2 Lite. With Xiaomi A2 already running Android 10, the Lite variant may be getting the update as well. We were able to decode this after the device popped up on Geekbench benchmark listing running the latest Android operating system – Android 10.
According to the listing, Android 10 for Mi A2 Lite might be on its way. However, there’s no official time frame as to when the update will be hitting the Mi A2 Lite device. But we’re optimistic the update will start arriving soon considering that the A2 is already running Android 10. Also, the Xiaomi Mi A3 will start receiving the update from next month, so Android 10 for Mi A2 Lite might start arriving at the same time.
The truth remains that the Android 10 for Mi A2 Lite is definitely going to arrive, but unfortunately, it will be the last major update that will be rolled out to the device. It’s because Google promises two Android OS updates to Android One phones, and Mi A2 Lite already got the Android 9.

Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite debuted in July 2018, running Android 8.1 (Oreo). The device has since been updated to Android 9 (Pie) and is now waiting for the latest Android OS. Other specs of the phone are 5.84-inch LCD, Snapdragon 625 Octa-Core processor, paired with up to 4GB RAM. The device has a dual 12MP + 5MP rear cameras with a single 5MP selfie snapper. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint identification scanner and 4000mAh battery, with a 10W fast charge via Micro USB port.
