Poco X2 to debut with 64MP camera, a high refresh rate on February 4.
After 17 months since the POCO F1 was released, the predecessor, dubbed POCO X2, will officially debut on February 14. The smartphone will be the first to debut under the POCO sub-brand after gaining independence some weeks ago.
According to the poster on POCO official Twitter handle ” An Experience that will make you go, “Bruh, it’s #SnoothAF” #POCOX2 is arriving on Feb 4Th 2020. The tweet also confirms that the POCO X2 will feature a higher screen refresh rate, possibly a 120Hz fluid rate, which features in Redmi k30.
On the POCO X2 webpage, it confirms the phone will feature top-end Qualcomm processor, possibly Snapdragon 865. It also suggests liquid cooling and a better camera sensor, allegedly the Samsung 64MP sensor. The phone will feature Type-C USB port and will keep the 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom. From the pictures posted on the webpage, the design will have a metal design with all the four edges curved.
Meanwhile, a couple of days ago, the device popped up on Geekbench, running Android 10 with 8GB RAM. The detail from the benchmark website shows the device will run a Qualcomm Octa-Core processor with 1.8Ghz frequency speed. The benchmark score also shows a similar score with the Redmi K30, which spanks the rumor of POCO X2 launching as a rebranded version of the former.
We also under that the device will have a Lite version and is alleged to feature the recently launched Snapdragon 765 Soc. The device will have a 5000mAh battery capacity and possibly support at least 30W fast charge. Available pictures of the device show a U-shaped notch on the front panel, and we expect the device to debut running MIUI 11 on top Android 10.
