Information of Google Maps detailed cycling route info and landmarks’ aerial views

Previously, the brand has been giving directions to people cycling via Google Maps over the last 12 years and it has quite improved the mode of transport by about 40 percent, but the brand isn’t done. With the new update, there will be more information like “Less turns” and “More Bike Lanes”.

The information will be quite detailed, it comprises Stairs, Roads- giving you access to major and minor roads, shared roads, and even marked bike lanes; as well as a “Very Steep” section showing you high and low points.

“You’ll also be able to get a highly detailed breakdown of the route itself so you can know at a glance what type of road you’ll be biking on – like a major road vs. a local street. Gone are the days of unknowingly pedaling up a strenuous hill or on a route with more car traffic than you’re comfortable with.”

The detailed cycling route info will be rolling out to countries that have cycling directions available. Meanwhile, the aerial views of various Landmarks apply to places in London, New York, Tokyo, San Francisco, and Barcelona. The feature is in a way similar to the immersive view showing you how a place will be in a particular climatic condition, how busy it is or even a peek at the site.

Google Maps sure is an amazing software and is even better with all these sleek updates.
