The Redmi K20, K20 Pro, Mi 9T Pro, and Mi 9 are only Xiaomi phones to receive the MIUI 12 update on the first rollout after the company released the schedule during the global unveiling. The update is now arriving for each of the phones but as a Global Beta Stable.
On Mi 9T Pro (Redmi K20 Pro), the update is arriving with a build number MIUI 12.0.0.8 QFKMIXM and weighs in at 1.0GB. It brings all the MIUI 12 features, but on the changelog, you would only see increased system stability and reduced system lag.
It’s the same update that is being sent to Mi 9 users, but the build number is slightly different – MIUI 12.0.0.8 QFAMIXM. It’s a 1.1GB package and with just two changes on the changelog.
If you’re using Mi 9T (Redmi K20), check here for the update. We added a download link and how to go about flashing the ROM. However, we advise you to wait for the OTA, but make sure you see the heads up about the MIUI 12 Global beta stable update before anything.
