Latest update MIUI 10.0.1.0 OEFMIFH global Stable rom arriving on Redmi S2/Y2
Last time, we reported that Xiaomi MI Mix 2s has started receiving MIUI 10.8.9.7 update which is based on Android Pie after upgrading to MIUI 10. Now, the Redmi S2/Y2 has started receiving MIUI 10.0.1.0 OEFMIFH global stable ROM, coming with so many features and bug fixes.

Gesture experience
Xiaomi has taken the gesture experience to a new level after a positive review from users that have been using it. On the Redmi S2/Y2, you can now use the full-screen gesture instead of buttons. It won’t only make everything faster, it will also change the way you interact with your phone, smoother and more convenient this time.
Also to enhance the user experience, the new User Interface has been designed to fit in with the device, allowing the content to take hold of the screen.
Optimized Sounds
With the new MIUI 10.0.1.0 update, you will get natural sounds that will suit your moods. Filters have been added to the sounds to make it possible for users to hear something only when they need to. You can now enjoy your day while listening to encompassing sounds of forest, beach, stove fire, drizzle and summer night.
Camera improvement
You can now blur the background of your pictures with a single camera. After updating your device, you can start taking portrait mode pictures with the ability to make depth effect on them.
Meanwhile, some system apps, including clock and Notes also saw some improvements.
