Latest update MIUI 10.8.9.7 has started arriving on MI Mix 2s
Xiaomi first flagship phone of the year, MI Mix 2s has started receiving a new update – MIUI 10.8.9.7. The new update is based on Android Pie, which is the latest Android operating system released some weeks ago.
The MI Mix 2s meanwhile, is the latest Xiaomi device to be receiving the Beta update after the recent upgrade to MIUI 10. While the update will allow early adopters to enjoy new goodies of Android P, they should also accept the fact that there will bugs. But as developers preview the software, bugs will depreciate and it won’t be long before the stable version is release.
From the version number – MIUI 10.8.9.7, it means the update started rolling on Friday. From reviews so far, the user interface is still the same but operations has become more seamless and some camera related issues have been fixed.
To upgrade to MIUI 10.8.9.7, you have to update the latest version first after which you will get a prompt notification to update. But remember, the update comes with bug and is better to wait for stable version if you’re not a pro.
