The latest Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro update bring slews of new features to the camera app
A couple of days ago, Xiaomi started sending out a stable MIUI 12 based Android 11 update to Mi 10 users in China. The same update is also arriving, surprisingly, for the Redmi Note 9 Pro users in India, while the Mi 10 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro have also joined the party. But unlike the update that arrived for the Note 9 Pro users, the latest Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro coming along with slews of new camera features.
It was Xiaomi group’s vice president and mobile phone president, Zeng Xuezhong, that announced it on Weibo. According to him, the latest Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro brought a massive upgrade to the camera app. Some of the new features that’s arriving with the update include shuttle crowd, neon night curtain, moving clouds and flower water, creative light painting, bright starry sky, and romantic star trails.
The update, meanwhile, is arriving with a version number, MIUI 12.2.1.0 RJACNXM for the Mi 10 Pro and MIUI 12.2.1.0 RJKCNXM for the Redmi K30 Pro. Of course, it is based on Android 11 and will arrive in batches. As for when the update will start arriving for the global model of these phones, unfortunately, there’s no ETA. However, we believe in a couple of weeks, it will be ready for global rollout and we hope it arrives with all the new camera features.
