Meizu 16

Meizu has officially announced a beauty in the Meizu 16 and 16 Plus with a tiny bezel and under-screen identification scanner. The Meizu 16 sports a 6.0-inch super AMOLED display of 1080 x 2160px resolution. It’s powered by Snapdragon 710 Octa-core processor paired with 8GB RAM and accompanied by a 128GB internal memory. The rear camera comes with dual 12MP accompanied by 20MP depth sensor for post-shot effects coupled with six-LED dual-tone Flash, while on the front panel is a 20MP selfie camera.

Meizu 16 debuted with a 2950mAh battery that supports fast charging technology (mCharge 4.0), through a Type-C USB cable. The device will run Flyme UI on top Android 8.1 Oreo.

Onboard the display is 1080 x 2160px resolution with 402PPI to deliver vivid and colorful details while supporting over 16m color to deliver natural colors.

Performance

Meizu 16 combines premium design with power efficient Snapdragon 710 Octa-core processor for maximum operations. The latest 700-series offering from Qualcomm that first featured in Mi 8 SE implements kryo cores and on Meizu 16 is paired with 8GB RAM for flawless multitasking. There also Adreno 616 GPU and out of the box, it will run Android OS 8.1 Oreo on top Flyme UI.

Storage

The Meizu 16 comes in multiple internal storages ranging from 64GB to 128GB which also varies in the price depending on the configuration. Unfortunately, either way, you won’t be able to expand the memory, so you should consider every possibility before going for a particular variant.

Camera

All the Smartphones company are now going with the trendy dual rear camera arrangement and Meizu 16 didn’t disappoint. Onboard the camera is dual 12MP (f/1.8, 1/2.3*, 1.5µm, 4-axis OIS, laser AF) accompanied by a depth sensor 20MP (2.6”, 1.0µm, AF) for post-shot effects. It also features Six-LED dual-tone Flash, wide angle and HDR, while on the selfie camera is massive 16MP (f/2.0) and can record 1080p@30fps video.

Security

Debuted with the Meizu 16 is a 0.25s to trigger under-screen fingerprint identification scanner to replace the physical scanner and to also maintain high-level security making sure your security isn’t invaded. The tech which first featured in Vivo X21 UD is now on the latest Meizu phones waiting to be explored.

Battery

There is a 2950mAh battery under the helm of the power system to deliver maximum power that will keep you running over a whole day. It charges through Type-C USB cable while supporting charge 4.0 (16W) for easy refill.
