When Xiaomi introduced the MIUI 12, it didn’t include the Mi CC9E and Redmi Note 8 on the Beta testing list. Reason being that both phones were testing Android 10 updates. It looks like the update is nearly ready as the Mi CC9E Android 10 update starts arriving with the latest MIUI 12 beta.
The update is available for closed Beta groups and will take a few days before it starts appearing for the public. It carries a build number MIUI 12.20.6.11 and comes along with most of the MIUI 12 features.
According to reports, Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Android 10 update might be ready in two weeks, perhaps for the beta testers. Recall that the device alongside the Mi CC9E is what has been testing Android 10 for a while now, and since the former is now getting the update, its only a matter of days before it starts arriving for Redmi Note 8.
Meanwhile, you can download the Mi CC9E Android 10 update. It’s a 2.23GB package, and you can flash via Recovery. That should be fast and easy because you won’t be required to unlock the bootloader, but that depends on your ROM version.
