The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite sold in Europe is the one to start receiving a new stable update that brings the MIUI 12.5 build. It was released for the global variant a couple of days ago, hinting at an imminent release in other regions. And while the update is yet to extend to more users across the different regions. Xiaomi has started pushing the MIUI 12.5 for Mi Note Note 10 lite in Europe. As always, the update is on a limited rollout and will start seeding for eligible users after a successful beta preview.
Meanwhile, there are some complaints about the MIUI 12.5 update for Mi Note 10 Lite. According to feedback, the device started experiencing a battery drain after the upgrade, while there seem to be touch issues. The former, however, is common with every new build as it takes time for the system to adjust. As for the touch issues, that’s a system issue, particularly for the device, as those that adopted MIUI 12.5 with a different device aren’t reporting it.
That said, it’s left for you to decide whether to upgrade to MIUI 12.5 now or wait. Unfortunately, it’s unclear when another build will be released, but that will take some time as the company is working to upgrade all eligible units. However, you can install the update after backing up your data and perform a factory reset afterward to fix some minor issues.
And if you’re yet to receive the MIUI 12.5 for Mi Note 10 Lite in Europe, it will arrive as MIUI 12.5.1.0 RFNEUXM. The package weighs in at 982MB and comes along with features of the new MIUI OS. Also, it bumps the Android security patch level to May 2021 to increase system security and stability.
