Xiaomi is now recruiting MIUI 12 Beta testers for Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 8 Pro, and Pocophone F1. The opportunity is open to anyone globally but limited to users of the mentioned device. But before you apply, it’s important to read the information below carefully.
Important information for MIUI 12 Beta testers for Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 8 Pro, and POCO F1
- The recruitment is for Mi Pilot that will test MIUI 12 Global stable beta ROM. Only people willing to test should join. Asking for a transfer to join another team after your recruitment won’t be granted.
- On completion of your application, you can join the related communication platform on Telegram, where you will find a group of Global stable beta ROM testers.
- To be able to receive OTA notification, your device must be running a Stable Beta ROM when applying
Note: you won’t receive recruitment notice after you submitted your application. All communication, including OTA release, is done on the Telegram channel.
MIUI 12 Beta Testers requirement
- Must be using a Xiaomi phone and will actively participate in the stable version test, feedback, and suggestion.
- The Xiaomi phone must have Mi long in Account.
- Vast knowledge on Mi flashing tools, tolerance for issues, and willing to cooperate with engineers about the detailed information of the issues.
- Ability to save phone when flashing failed and willing to take risks about failed updates.

For your application to be successful, the Xiaomi phone must be running a Global Stable ROM. To check your device version, go to Settings> About phone. The circled part on the image below will show the character that’s explained below.
