The most anticipated feature – Coolwalk – that debuted a couple of months ago but was limited to beta testers is now available for everyone. Google released a new video today to officially launch the feature on the stable channel.

According to the video released by Google on its official YouTube channel, the Coolwalk feature focuses on a seamless operation. The new UI is designed to display multiple functions simultaneously. You can find your frequently used app on the left panel, while the battery and network icons are at the top.

Of course, Google Maps takes a bigger portion of the display, while your music player can fit in on the right side of the screen. Interestingly, you run other apps, including messages.

Aside from the few additions, the new Android Auto 8.6 stable has resolved issues and optimized performance. Also, the Material You design and Do Not Disturb functionality has improved.
