There’s no doubt now about the Redmi Note 8 Android 11 update plans as the device already bagged its first Android 11 build. The update already arrived for those in Europe, and it brings the January 2021 security patch. It improved system security and fixed bugs. It is arriving as MIUI 12.0.2.0 QCXMIXM for the global ROM users, while the Russian models are getting a MIUI 12.0.3.0 QCXRUXM.

However, you might get an error, and that should be because only selected users are supposed to receive the update. When that happens, give it some days or wait for the OTA.
