The successor of the 2018 Pocophone F1 dubbed POCO F2 Pro was finally unveiled a couple of days ago, in an online event. During the unveiling, POCO revealed they’ve sold over 1.64million units of the POCO F1, thanks to the affordable price and maximum support users have received and continue to get. And currently, a new Pocophone F1 Global stable update with a build number MIUI 11.0.8.0 has gone live.
The update is a security patch build and weighs in at a massive 1.9GB. It’s based on Android 10, but that shouldn’t justify the big size for a patch update. However, the update also fixed some bugs and improved system stability. Below is the full Changelog for the new Pocophone F1 Global stable update

Unfortunately, the update seems to have left a few bugs. According to this particular user, the camera became worse after updating to the new build. He also claimed there’s ”stuttering and thermal throttling and the warning persist saying the device is overheating and can’t use this feature.” His advice is to skip this particular update and wait for MIUI 12.
For now, that’s the only negative feedback we have received about the new Pocophone F1 Global stable update. We recommend that you skip the update and wait for the MIUI 12, considering the update is just a patch build.
Meanwhile, the new POCO F2 Pro is now available Globally for just $499. The device is the successor of the Pocophone F1 with so much improvement over the predecessor.
