Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T start receiving new updates in Europe

The European variants of the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro were first to receive the stable MIUI 12.5 update. That was after the Chinese release, which arrived on the Redmi K30S Ultra. The device started pushing a new update yesterday, hinting at an imminent global release. As expected, a new stable update for Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro have been released in Europe. It is a Stable Beta release, and as such, would take some time before it starts seeding to the public.

The new stable update for Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro is essentially a security patch update. Xiaomi released MIUI 12.5 to the device with the April patch. They are now pushing the Android security patch level to June 2021 to increase system security and stability. However, that’s outdated now, as most phones have now bagged the July patch. Perhaps, the build has been in development for some time, and hence, the patch level. Hopefully, a new update arrives in the future with the latest patch.

Nevertheless, the new update continues to address some problems affecting the device performance. However, it doesn’t seem to fix the third-party launcher compatibility issue. Also, the ugly square chat bubbles are yet to turn circles, and the few bugs affecting the notification. The update is safe, though, and you should download and install when prompted.

It will arrive with a version number – MIUI 12.5.3.0 RJDEUXM – and weighs in at 296MB. Again, it is a limited rollout and would arrive only for Mi Pilots at the moment. However, you can download the build via the links below and flash it manually.
