Stable MIUI 12.5 update released for Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro in Europe
More Xiaomi phones keep bagging the stable MIUI 12.5 update globally. This time, it’s the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro units in Europe that are picking up the much-anticipated update. The update arrived for the Chinese version ( Redmi K30S) a couple of weeks ago to hint at an imminent arrival for the global variant. As expected, Xiaomi is now seeding the stable MIUI 12.5 update for the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro.
The update is currently available in Europe for select users known as Mi Pilots. They’re expected to preview the build for bugs, and if in the end none is found, the public rollout will commence almost immediately. However, given the feedback from those running the build already, there are no serious bugs, meaning that a wider rollout could be a few days away.
The update is hitting eligible users with a version number – MIUI 12.5.1.0 RJDEUXM – in a 938MB package. On the update log is features of the new MIUI OS, which includes gesture improvement, and the custom adjustment based on the device model, the device becomes faster after the upgrade. Power consumption and background memory usage has been reduced, while it’s now possible to uninstall some system apps. Again, only select users, those on the Xiaomi Mi Pilots group, are receiving the update. Luckily, the recruitment is open for some device, and you can join via this link. It’s unclear when other regions will start getting the update, but at this stage, it won’t be long again.
