New stable update for the Mi 10 starts arriving in India

Aside from offering value for Money smartphones, Xiaomi tops that list when it comes to device support. The company is currently leading the race in Android 11 adoption and has continued to roll out subsequent builds to devices that already received the update. And now getting a new MIUI 12 based Android 11 update is that Mi 10 units running Indian ROM. The build is hitting eligible users on a limited rollout and brings an updated Android security patch and new features.

The new stable update for the Mi 10 is coming with a version number – MIUI 12.2.6.0 RJBINXM – and weighs in at 518MB. It could only push the Android security patch to January 2021 to improve system security and stability. The update also fixed some minor bugs while introducing a new camera feature; documents are now recognized in real-time. Again, the update is on a limited rollout, but you can check the updater app (System Updates). Also, we have added a link to access the recovery and OTA ROM if you decide on a manual installation

And given the MIUI 12.5 Global rollout schedule, the Mi 10 will start receiving the update starting from next month. Hence, this is probably the last update before it starts arriving. It’s recommended that you install the new stable update for the Mi 10 to fortify your device ahead of the upgrade. Meanwhile, if you’re installing the build manually, make sure to backup your data before you proceed.
