After some weeks on the side-line, Poco recently came into the limelight with the launch of its latest mid-range phone, POCO M3. The device debuted a couple of days ago with some compelling specs, starting at an affordable price. That seems to have appealed to so many Poco fans as the company has supposedly sold over 70,000 units.
The POCO M3 went on to first open sales a couple of days ago. It was discounted $20 from the $149 retailer price, which the company said is for early birds only. It seems that the price and the specs are attractive to users as the device proves to be a hit with the number of units that were sold in just 30 minutes.
The 70,000 POCO M3 units were sold across three different retail stores. They include one of the Chinese biggest retail stores, AliExpress, Amazon, and Lazada. Considering that the device was priced at $129 during the sales means that Poco made over $9 million in just 30 minutes. That’s impressive, and besides, there was never a doubt as the brand has established its name on the smartphone market after the success it achieved with Pocophone F1.
Meanwhile, you can still grab the version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage for $129 and $149 for a 4/128GB memory combo on AliExpress now. After today’s sales, the price will revert to $149 and $169, and hence, it’s your best chance to grab the device now.
A quick reminder that POCO M3 debuted with a 6.53-inch display and runs Snapdragon 662 SoC. It features a triple rear camera, which consists of a primary 48MP shooter, 2MP depth, and 2MP macro shooters, while the front camera is equipped with an 8MP snapper. The biggest highlight of the device is the 6000mAh battery. It supports reverse charging at 18W speed, and according to POCO, it will last three years without degradation.
