Since the official unveiling of MIUI 12, Xiaomi has been busy with closed beta testing and has recently started rolling out the stable version of the update to eligible phones. POCO F2 Pro was always going to get the update, but not so soon as Beta team members were not recruited to test the pre-release ROM, just like the company is currently doing with Xiaomi Mi 10.
Perhaps, since the phone has almost the same development as the Redmi K30 Pro, which has already received the stable MIUI 12 update in China, the company didn’t see the need to organize beta testing for the global users. Meanwhile, currently receiving the POCO F2 Pro stable MIUI 12 update are the global users in Europe. The update only went live a few hours ago, and will probably appear on your device in a couple of hours.
The POCO F2 Pro stable MIUI 12 update is arriving with a build number, MIUI 12.0.1.0 QJKEUXM, and weighs in at 1.1GB. Coming along with the update is all the features of MIUI 12, which include revamped system UI, new system animation, dark mode 2.0, new camera function, and floating windows. Aside from introducing all the features of the newest Xiaomi custom ROM, it also fixes bugs, updates the Android Security patch level to improve device security.
