Redmi Go now official with Android 8.1 Oreo

After some time on the rumor mill, Xiaomi officially announced its first ever Go device – Redmi Go. Xiaomi Redmi Go debuted with a 5-inch display to minimize the risk of it falling-off your hand, while featuring a 1280 x 720 px resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio panel.

The device has a single 8MP primary camera accompanied by an LED flash and 5MP front selfie snapper. Under the hood is snapdragon 425 clocked at 1.2GHz with four cores. Its paired with 1GB and 8GB or 16GB expandable memory, possible with the hybrid slot.

The device has a 3000mAh battery. It has been tipped to empress under the power efficient chipset and a moderate screen. Below the Redmi Go for media transfer and refilling of the battery is a Micro USB port.

The Xiaomi Redmi Go is going on sale in Europe from next month and is expected to set you back €80, which is about $120. The device will also be available in other markets including the Philippines, though the price and availability are yet to be revealed.
