The Redmi K30 Pro 5G leaks have intensified in the last couple of days, meaning the official launch is imminent. We already know Xiaomi will debut the Redmi K30 Pro 5G this month, but the day is what has been missing. Today, the company has taken to Weibo to officially confirm that the Redmi K30 Pro will be making its official debut on March 24. The phone is tipped to be the least affordable smartphone that will run Snapdragon 865, which isn’t surprising, considering how the predecessors were priced.

The Redmi K30 Pro 5G will arrive in two variants, according to the latest teaser from Lu Weibing. There will be a standard version and a Premium Redmi K30 Pro 5G zoom edition. The Zoom edition is likely to feature a telephoto lens and OIS missing on the K30. We have seen the back of the phone, and it will feature a Quad-camera arrangement, with a primary 64MP Sony IMX 686 lens while the selfie snapper is mounted on a motorized pop-up.

The company already confirmed a notch-less OLED display. It’s rumored to be a 6.67-inch Full HD+ panel with an in-display optical fingerprint scanner. The screen will likely refresh at 120Hz just like the K30 5G version.

And like the Mi 10 series, the Redmi K30 Pro 5G will feature LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage. It’s said to come with a 4,700mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The device will likely start from CNY 3,000 (~$428). However, we wait until the official launch to learn about pricing and availability.

We expect the launch to see other Xiaomi products make their debut, according to Xiaomi General Manager, Lu Weibing. From reports, the company is expected to announce a new RedmiBook and a fitness band.
