Xiaomi has completed the initial batch of the stable MIUI 13 rollout. The deployment started with the Pad 5 series and was later pushed to the Xiaomi Mi 11. Redmi K40 / POCO F3 got the upgrade a couple of days later before extending it to the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra / Pro. It’s the Redmi K40 Pro / Plus and Xiaomi Mix 4 getting the much-anticipated upgrade. The update promises to address issues with MIUI and improve performance and stability.
With the feedback from Xiaomi Mi 12 series devices, which runs Android 12 on top of MIUI 13 outside of the box, the device is very stable. Also, operations with the phones are smooth, and there haven’t been any major issues so far. Thanks to the recently released MIUI 13 build that complements the works done by the predecessor to improve the stability of Xiaomi phones running MIUI. Fortunately, the build has been released for the Redmi K40 Pro / Plus and Xiaomi Mix 4 units in China.
Redmi K40 Pro / Plus and Xiaomi Mix 4 stable MIUI 13 update brings Android 12, as expected. It comes in a 4.2GB package with a version number – MIUI 13.0.5.0 SKKCNXM and MIUI 13.0.2.0 SKBCNXM, respectively. Meanwhile, the update is seeding for Mi Pilots for preview, and it would last for a couple of days before the public rollout. But you can download from ROM below if you opt for manual installation.
