Redmi Note 6 Pro MIUI 12 update released globally
In the space of barely 48 hours, Xiaomi has released MIUI 12 update for the Redmi Note 5, Redmi 7A, and now, the Redmi Note 6 Pro MIUI 12 starts seeding. Unfortunately, the Redmi 7, Redmi 6A, and Redmi Y3 wouldn’t be receiving the update due to compatibility issues. However, such wasn’t said about the Note 6 Pro, and you can head over to the updater app and scan for the new update that brings the much anticipated MIUI 12.
The Redmi Note 6 Pro MIUI 12 update is hitting eligible units globally. It comes in a 732MB and with all the features of MIUI 12, system optimization, and bug fixes. The update also bumps the security patch level to November 2020. If you have the Redmi Note 6 Pro, you’ll receive an update with a version number, MIUI 12.0.1.0 PEKMIXM.
Nevertheless, it might take some time before the update comes to your phone. The reason is that the update is currently limited to a few selected users. But you can make use of the download links below and then flash using the recovery method.
