Redmi Note 8 MIUI 12 update to arrive for all Global users this week

It’s been weeks since the Redmi Note 8 MIUI 12 update was first released. The rollout had an issue and couldn’t go round and was pulled after some days. A new build started rolling out after that, but didn’t still fix the bug, which has resulted in so many queries.
Xiaomi, towards the end of last year, promised to roll out a new Redmi Note 8 MIUI 12 update for the global users, which will see the update get to everyone. They did keep their promise and started rolling out a new MIUI 12 build a couple of days ago.
The build arrived as MIUI 12.0.3.0 QCOMIXM with the January security patch. Meanwhile, it seems the update is yet to come for everyone. According to reports, those on V11.0.11.0 and V11.0.12.0 are yet to receive the MIUI 12 update for the first time. But that’ll soon change, going by a Feedback Team member on the Mi Community forum.
According to the team member, he contacted Xiaomi today seeking an update on the Redmi Note 8 MIUI 12 rollout. The rollout going by the screenshot above will get to everyone this week.
That said, it seems Xiaomi will start a wider rollout of the update soon as that only when the update will get to everyone. Also, users can manually flash the recovery ROM via the updater app without any error. However, the wider rollout hasn’t started yet, and you’d get an error flashing the Recovery ROM.
